Treccani Milano Lands Major Wardrobe Sponsorship with Property Brothers Jonathan and Drew Scott
Treccani Milano's year in the international fashion spotlight continues to shine brightly after scoring a major wardrobe sponsorship for the hit W Network series Property Brothers, produced by Cineflix.
Toronto, Canada, June 08, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The luxury Italian brand has been selected by the TV program to design footwear and clothing for hosts – and brothers – Jonathan and Drew Scott. In authentic Italian fashion, the products will be handmade in the company's Milan “bottega” (laboratory), an approach that has set the label ahead of competitors by staying true to the phrase "made in Italy."
“We created a variety of special pieces for Jonathan and Drew, custom shoes and shirts handcrafted in Italy by our artisans, to meet their tastes and personalities,” reveals Emanuele Bonasia, General Manager of Treccani Milano.
Treccani Milano products will be worn by the Scott brothers in the second season of Property Brothers as they help families transform fixer-uppers into their dream homes. The hit series now broadcasts in 13 countries around the globe. The deal is a perfect fit with Treccani Milano's plans to expand its business outside of Canada and Italy and attract the attention of trendsetters worldwide.
“Jonathan and I became big fans of Treccani Milano products in summer 2011 when we first had the opportunity to see the quality and craftsmanship put in each item first hand," explains Drew Scott. “What we love the most is that each pair of shoes or shirt is one of a kind as they create it with you, based upon your specifications and needs.”
The sponsorship and move to cable television is one of many successes for Treccani Milano in the fashion and entertainment industries. The luxury brand was chosen by Oscar nominee David Shamoon to wear on the red carpet at this year's Academy Awards. Other highlights include landing a spot at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival's RealTVfilms Media Lodge, a cross-Canada shoe event in partnership with Holt Renfrew and the opening of a Yorkville boutique in Toronto. Treccani Milano products have also been spotted on celebrities including actors Tonya Lee Williams, Helene Joy, K.C. Collins, Ben Bass, Lyriq Bent and television host Samantha Gutstadt.
