Ohio Restore Our Neighborhoods Coalition is Formed by Green Solutions Property Services
Green Solutions Property Services, (GS-PS), a National Demolition Company with expertise in demolition policy has begun the organization of Counties, Cities, Land Banks, and Community Groups in Ohio to address funding solutions for blight removing demolition.
Destin, FL, June 13, 2012 --(PR.com)-- In the wake of the housing crisis, many foreclosed homes were left in harsh disrepair by banks, leaving the Municipalities to deal with this problem on an ongoing growing basis. This problem left the cities in Ohio with the daunting task of seizing these properties with little means to remove the blight they cause.
When homes are in such bad shape, in devalued neighborhoods problems escalate quickly:
* Reduction in value of all properties.
* Increase in crime and cost of policing.
* Increase in cost to maintain properties (Board Up & Lawn Care)
* Increase in violence, drug abuse, and squatters.
* Lower tax rolls
* Decrease in economic viability of communities.
* Stagnation of home sales
* Stagnation of home improvements
This Ohio Restore Our Neighborhoods Coalition is the brain child of Douglas Fernbacher, Founder and National Demolition Leader, a resident of Columbus Ohio, and passionate warrior for the restoration of Ohio’s smallest and largest communities.
Counties, Cities, Land Banks, and Communitiy Groups are encouraged to join in this initiative to joint forces for a common voice to funding the drastic need for blight removing Demolition in Ohio.
All Leaders in Ohio are encouraged to reach out to Mr. Ferbacher as soon as possible, as a largest funding opportunity to date has been identified and is reachable only with a strong voice from unified leaders working under the Ohio Restore Our Neighborhoods Coalition.
Douglas Fernbacher states; “Only with a unified voice and proposal can we garner the funds necessary to turn the tide for Ohio’s cash strapped cities. We must take this framework we have created and to quickly address this available funding. I cannot say it strong enough; a solution is at hand and time is of the essense to turn Ohio’s cities around with large amounts of funding for blight removing demolition.”
The proposal for these funds is in production and nearing completion. An assessment of each area is needed with the assistance of Counties, Cities, Land Banks, and Community Groups. Once completed the Coalition will submit a unified application and engage in promotion of the Coalition for the good of all involved.
