NYEG Drilling Hires New Business Leader
New V.P. brings more than 20 years of development and marketing expertise
Greenville, SC, June 14, 2012 --(PR.com)-- NYEG Drilling is proud to announce Virginia “Ginny” MacCallum has joined the company as its new vice president of business development and marketing.
MacCallum has 20 years’ experience in business development and marketing and 12 years’ expertise in the fields of architecture, engineering and construction.
“Ginny has helped businesses of all sizes grow into extremely successful companies. She’s going to bring invaluable wisdom and experience to NYEG Drilling, and we’re excited for her fresh ideas and incredible work ethic,” said Peter Paragon, owner of NYEG Drilling.
MacCallum most recently was the national business development director for Tug Hill Construction in Watertown, New York. She has worked for both government and private companies over the last 25 years, beginning her career in 1987 as the program director for the Black River Housing Council in Watertown.
MacCallum’s notable achievements include leading a woman-owned architectural and engineering firm and managing the U.S. Army’s business development activities on the east coast for an international engineering firm. She has secured multi-million dollar contracts for various companies throughout her distinguished career.
“Having worked with construction and engineering firms in the past, I understand what an enormous impact a company like NYEG can have for these firms. I am really looking forward to helping them achieve great things on both local and national levels,” MacCallum said.
NYEG’s new marketing leader is also an engaged member of her community. MacCallum is the president and co-founder of the Alex Bay Community Improvement Association. She has also served on the Jefferson County Economic Development Council and was the vice president of the Alexandria Bay Chamber of Commerce.
“Not only is Ginny exceptionally accomplished in all aspects of business development, she’s an all-around outstanding individual. The whole team is ready to begin working on new projects under her leadership,” Paragon said.
MacCallum assumed her new role with the company on June 4th.
