Coffee House Mafia - What Would You Do for a Cup of Coffee?

Nomey Tanner’s cafe has finally moved out of the red and is actually making some profit. Too bad the government just passed a prohibition against caffeine, making it illegal for her to sell coffee. What’s a cafe owner to do at a time like this? Why, turn to a life of crime, of course.

Clarksville, TN, June 14, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Jennifer Jelliff’s debut ebook Coffee House Mafia follows her squeaky-clean character’s descent into a world of illegal caffeine sales as a new mafia rises from a love of coffee.

Set in Tacoma, WA, the novel explores the fallout of a ban on caffeine in the coffee mecca of the Pacific Northwest.

Jennifer drew upon her love of coffee and experience as a counselor at a Texas state penitentiary for inspiration. “I wondered what it would take to make a good citizen turn to a life of crime,” Jennifer says. “Apparently all you had to do was take away her coffee.”

Coffee House Mafia is available for purchase through Smashwords.com and Amazon Kindle for $2.99.

Jennifer graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Jennifer currently lives in Clarksville, TN where she is working on the second Nomey Tanner book as well as several upcoming short stories and novels.
