Mini Mania Inc. to Participate in Nicole Racing Japan’s Circuit Day at Fuji Speedway
Mini Mania's Owner Don Racine has accepted an invitation to participate in Nicole Racing Japan Co., LTD’s 30th Anniversary Celebration on 29 June, 2007 at Fuji International Speedway in Fuji, Japan.
Nevada City, CA, June 15, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Mini Mania, Inc.(tm), the market leader in distributing and manufacturing lifestyle products and high quality performance aftermarket parts for the "classic" Mini(tm) and BMW Mini Cooper(tm) automobiles announced today that Mini Mania has accepted an invitation to participate in Nicole Racing Japan Co., LTD’s 30th Anniversary Celebration on 29 June, 2007. Nicole Racing Japan is the exclusive distributor for Mini Mania products in Japan. Don Racine, owner of Mini Mania Inc. will take exhibition laps in the Mini Mania race car during the festivities.
Nico Roehreke, founder and President of Nicole Group of Companies has turned his passion for racing into a major enterprise. Nicole Racing Japan began business 30 years ago as the sole importer for AP Racing products in support of the entire range of racing and street applications. Nicole Racing Japan is now a part of the much larger ‘Nicole Group’ of companies that includes Nicole Automobiles, Nicole Marketing and Nicole Cars. They not only represent both BMW and MINI in the market but are the sole importer for Alpina into Japan.
The celebration will be held at the Formula 1 (F1) race track outside of Fuji, Japan. Fuji International Speedway was established forty years ago and stands in a rich natural setting with a view of the majestic Mount Fuji. The course length is approximately 2.8 miles long with one of the longest front straights on the world F1 circuit of almost one mile.
Don Racine will be driving the Fuji circuit for the first time: “I am thrilled with the opportunity to not only demonstrate the World Class performance of our MINI on this world class track but am extremely honored to represent Nicole Racing on this special occasion.” Don Racine, who has raced throughout the USA, has been using racing for the last 30+ years to develop the various products for Mini Mania.
The Mini Mania BMW MINI Cooper S race car was shipped to specifically for this event. The MINI Cooper S has been one of the test cars used by Mini Mania in its various product development programs. This particular car has been set up for endurance racing at various club events in the USA.
Another special guest for the event is a famous Japanese magician who will come with a camera team from FUJI TV, one of the biggest TV stations in Japan, to do the shooting for his two-hour special that will be broadcast in July. Over 350 cars and about 600 people are expected at the event. Nicole Racing Japan will provide refreshments in the NICOLE Cafe in the pit area as well as on the 2nd floor in the "Crystal Room" with a view of the home stretch.
