Fort Myers Attorney Guy Whitesman Elected to University of Florida Law Center Association Board of Trustees
Fort Myers, FL, June 14, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The law firm of Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A., is pleased to announce that Attorney Guy E. Whitesman has been elected to the Board of Trustees of the University of Florida Law Center Association, Inc. The Association acts as a supporting organization to the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Through the Association's Trustees, it assists the Law School in the budgetary process, provides financial and volunteer resources, facilitates student mentoring programs and funds a number of student and faculty programs, scholarships and activities. Whitesman upon learning of his election indicated that he was honored to be elected to serve among the current "blue ribbon" members of the Board of Trustees and looked forward to assisting the Association and UF Law School in meeting current and future challenges in legal education. "My education from UF College of Law has served me well over the last 25 years and I am looking forward to returning the favor by serving the College."
Whitesman chairs Henderson Franklin's Business and Tax division and concentrates his practice in business, income tax and estate tax planning and mergers and acquisitions in a variety of industries ranging from agriculture, health care, insurance to retail.
