Cruise Experts Travel Introduces More Sailings and Itineraries for Exclusive Alaska Packages in 2013
Vancouver, Canada, June 16, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Following the sold out success of their own Alaska cruise and vacation package this year, Vancouver-based travel agency Cruise Experts Travel is offering in 2013 more sailings for the popular tour, and adding another itinerary to their product list. Both itineraries were designed for travellers seeking the ultimate experience with the comfort and peace of mind that everything is looked after.
“The experience starts at the airport where they’re greeted and driven to their hotel,” says Blaine Lambert, Chief Operating Officer with Cruise Experts Travel. “Guests don’t have to worry about a thing once they arrive for our tour.”
The agency’s classic Best of Alaska Tour #CET1 is an 11 or 12 Night Southbound Cruisetour and starts with the land portion in Fairbanks, Alaska and ends in Vancouver, Canada.
#CET1 land tour destinations consist of Fairbanks, Denali, Anchorage and Whittier. Highlights include:
· education on the history of the region, wildlife, and environment;
· a cruise on a 1800s sternwheeler boat along the Chena River;
· an Alaska salmon bake dinner at the 44-acre Pioneer Park;
· Happy Trails Kennel, home of famous four time Iditarod musher, Martin Busher;
· transportation on the Alaska railroad in a glass-domed railcar;
· luxury motorcoach service on the scenic George Parks and Seward highways;
· the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center; and
· the Tundra Wilderness Tour in Denali National Park.
This is followed by a 7 night cruise aboard the Coral Princess, taking guests to both Hubbard Glacier and Glacier Bay. They then head to Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan and finally Vancouver.
“Princess Cruises offers some of the best itineraries in Alaska. At this time, they are the only line going to both Hubbard Glacier and Glacier Bay on the same sailing,” explains Lambert.
New for 2013 is the agency’s exclusive 10 or 11 Night Northbound from Vancouver Tour #CET2, made for the adventurous, ‘off-the-beaten-path’ traveller. For 7 nights, guests sail the Coral Princess, visiting Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay, College Fjord and Whittier. The land portion that follows features the comprehensive Tundra Wilderness Tour in Denali, a day in the unique Alaskan village of Talkeetna where guests will enjoy stunning vistas and world-class salmon fishing, and flight-seeing tours to Mount McKinley.
On both tours, Cruise Experts Travel clients will be escorted by a local Alaskan guide throughout the land portion. Bags will be transferred from one destination to the next. All transportation is included and breakfast will be served every morning.
One of the major features that sets the agency’s Alaska tours apart from other cruise and land vacations is the distance into Denali National Park. Guests will travel 60 miles into Denali National Park, rather than the usual 14.
“There will be opportunity for more wildlife sightings, as well as a closer look at Mount McKinley, the highest peak in North America. We ensured that our itinerary would allow for as many wildlife sightings, glaciers and mountains as possible,” notes Lambert.
Cruise Experts Travel is taking bookings and advise interested parties to contact the office directly at 1-800-565-2784. Dates for 2013 are as follows: #CET1 June 8, July 6, August 3 and August 31; #CET2 May 22, June 19, July 18, August 31. Space is limited.
