Matthew Puckett’s New Album Featured on New ABC Series "NY Med" – Premiering July 10
Los Angeles, CA, June 18, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Matthew Puckett has 4 songs featured in the new ABC Series “NY Med.” "NY Med," an eight-episode documentary series follow-up to "Boston Med" and "Hopkins," is heading to ABC this July. The new documentary series will explore the lives of doctors and patients inside of Columbia and Weill Cornell hospitals, two of New York's most prestigious hospitals.
"NY Med" follows Dr. Mehmet Oz, of "The Dr. Oz Show," in addition to less recognizable names, as viewers "learn about those we depend on to fix us, and how sometimes they just can’t,” executive producer Terry Wrong said in a statement.
Matthew Puckett’s new album is titled “All Our Hands In The Air” and consists of 10 songs including “Lights And Sound”, “Never Let You Go”, “Baby Blue”, All Of The Reasons”, “New York City Girl” and “Brand New Day”. The album features great musicians such as Leland Sklar (Phil Collins, James Taylor), Joel Shearer (Alanis Morissette, DIDO), Ryan Hoyle (Collective Soul) and Kyler England (The Rescues).
Matthew Puckett's success writing songs and scores for television series and films in the past include the current series “Gravity” for the STARZ network, theme song, "Everything" for the popular ABC series "Boston Med," "Hopkins" also from ABC which won the Peabody award for best documentary series in 2009, "Hooking Up" and Showtime’s "Still Single." He has also written music and songs for projects such as the TLC feature film "Crazy Sexy Cancer" directed by Kris Carr, "Particles of Truth" directed by Jennifer Elster “She Wants Me” Starring Josh Gad and Charlie Sheen, “Light Years” Starring Chris Lowell and "some boys don’t leave" starring Jesse Eisenberg, Directed by Maggie Kiley.
