As an example, he uses the latest technology such as an Intraoral Camera to take pictures of the teeth so he can get close-up shots which will help diagnose the work that needs to be done. The patient can see exactly the same picture of the teeth so that Dr. Grivas can work towards a treatment plan.
Dr. Grivas is one of the few dentists that uses the CEREC technology, which means he can make crowns for the patient 'in the office’ during a single appointment – as opposed to sending the work out to a lab. The CEREC machine creates a 3-D picture of the teeth which helps design the restoration.
