Alive in the World Concert Raises $45,000 to Benefit Eden Autism Services Florida
Fort Myers, FL, June 20, 2012 --(PR.com)-- 15th annual concert featured Beth Nielsen Chapman and Rodney Crowell.
The 2012 Alive in the World Concert featuring acclaimed singers-songwriters Beth Nielsen Chapman and Rodney Crowell raised $45,000 for Eden Autism Services Florida. The concert and auction on April 14 at The Philharmonic Center for the Arts Daniels Pavilion were presented by the Trust for the Advancement of Responsible Artists (TARA). The opening act for the concert was the Community School Naples all-star rock band.
“We brought Beth Nielsen Chapman and Rodney Crowell to Naples for this concert because they are both powerful singers and songwriters,” said Bob Goldman, director and founder of TARA. “Guests enjoyed some great songs and fascinating stories from Beth and Rodney’s impressive catalogues.”
TARA was founded as a result of Bob Goldman’s involvement with Eden Autism Services. “Charities like Eden need community awareness,” Goldman said, “and concerts are one way of bringing public attention to those organizations.”
“We are indebted to Bob Goldman, TARA and the musicians for their ongoing support of Eden Autism Services and their commitment to help individuals with autism," said Susan Suarez, Director of Eden Autism Services Florida operations. “Their contributions raise community awareness of autism and funds to help support our mission.”
