Cheerleading All-Star and industry celebrity, Maddie Gardner signs a multi-year sports management agreement with Proformance Sports Marketing & Entertainment, LLC. Gardner makes industry history as the first ever cheerleader to have a management contract.
Austin, TX, June 21, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Maddie Gardner, considered to be the first cheerleader in the spirit industry to gain celebrity notoriety in the sport, has signed a multi-year management deal with Proformance Sports Marketing and Entertainment, a management and consulting agency based in Austin, Texas.
A role model to thousands of All-Star cheerleaders worldwide, Maddie, one of the "Superstars of All-Stars" ™, recently took home the Gold Medal at Worlds. She has now made history by signing the first-ever sports management contract as an individual cheerleader from the sport.
Maddie began competitive cheerleading at the age of 7 with Cheer Extreme out of Kernersville, NC. Her accolades include three years as part of the Level 5 Jr. and later, the Senior Elite Level 5 All Girl team. The team won 3 bronze medals, 1 silver and 2 gold medals at the USASF Worlds. At 18, Maddie recently ended her all-star career this past May with a Gold Medal and Gold Scholarship from USASF at the 2012 World Championships.
