Rabine Group Foundation Hosted Its 4th Annual Golf Outing Fundraiser
The Rabine Group Foundation held its fourth annual Golf outing in Woodstock, Illinois benefitting sponsored non-profit organizations advocating for children, the elderly and medical research.
Schaumburg, IL, June 21, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Rabine Group Foundation recently hosted its 4th Annual Golf Outing this past Monday June 18, 2012. The event was held at the Bull Valley Golf Club in Woodstock, Illinois, which is the newest addition to the Rabine Group of companies. Bull Valley Golf Club’s par 72 course was ranked #14 on Golf Digest’s 2012 list of Best Courses in Illinois and was an excellent place to host a golf outing.
The event began with registration at 10 a.m. and a shotgun start at noon. Over 130 golfers and dinner guests attended the event including clients, colleagues and friends of the Rabine Group companies. The golf outing consisted of lunch and dinner, an open bar, golf gifts, a silent auction, celebrity guests, raffles, contests, awards, a beat-the-pro challenge and a short presentation by Gary Rabine, CEO of the Rabine Group.
The Rabine Group Foundation Golf Outing is the only fundraiser that reaches outside of the Rabine Group of companies. The goal of this event is to unite friends and colleagues and create awareness for the Foundation and causes in which it supports. These causes focus on not-for-profit organizations advocating for children, the elderly and medical research such as CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), Chicago Commons, Senior Service Associates, Goldie’s Place, and the Resurrection Center Foundation.
The presentation at the golf outing focused on the newest organization the Foundation supports, Goldie’s Place. This is an organization that helps homeless people who are hard working become qualified for jobs that will get them back on their feet. The Rabine Group Foundation has donated business clothes to Goldie’s Place and has also hired a Rabine Group team member from the Goldie’s Place program.
The Rabine Group Foundation greatly appreciates the volunteers, sponsors and guests who attended and supported the golf outing. Each year seems to be getting better and next year the Rabine Group Foundation plans to make the outing its most successful event yet.
