Water Words That Work, LLC Announces That the Voting for the Best “Green” Garden in the DC Area is Now Open
Green gardeners and amateur photographers have shared their best photos. Now its time for you to vote and help choose which ones best show the beautiful benefits of growing green.
Frederick, MD, June 23, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Voting is now open for the Metro DC Lawn and Garden Blog’s Green Gardeners Do Make a Difference Photo Contest.
From May 25th - June 8th, residents of the Metro DC area submitted photos depicting one or more aspects of their green, eco-friendly landscapes. Local residents now have until 5pm on June 29th to look through the photos and choose the one that they feel best depicts the beautiful benefits of growing green.
The first Place Prize winner will receive: a rain barrel, a utility cart, a compost tumbler, a sprinkler timer, winning photo printed on canvas and framed, and a gift certificate to a local garden store (Retail value of first place prize package approximately $700).
The Second Place winner will receive: a utility cart, a sprinkler timer, winning photo printed on canvas and framed and a gift certificate to a local garden store (Retail value of second place prize package approximately $400)·

The Green Gardeners Do Make a Difference Photo Contest is being carried out by the Metro DC Lawn and Garden Blog and its sponsors. Since June 2010, The Metro DC Lawn and Garden Blog has been sharing ideas such as conserving and protecting water, eliminating chemicals, gardening for wildlife and planting native species.
