Honda of the UK Manufacturing Ltd Selects Aras and Minerva for New Model Project Management Pilot Implementation
Andover, MA, June 22, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Aras®, the leading enterprise open source Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software solution provider, today announced that Honda of the UK Manufacturing Ltd (HUM) has selected Aras Innovator® and Minerva for its new model project management pilot implementation. A Discovery Workshop conducted by Minerva provided HUM with the confidence that Aras Innovator could deliver the scope of the pilot required and allowed all parties to recognize the complexity of the HUM new model process requirements.
HUM is a fully integrated car manufacturing facility based in Swindon, Wiltshire. HUM produces the complete vehicle; engine casting, machining and assembly, BIW pressing, welding and painting, final assembly and dynamic test. The current model lineup includes Jazz, CR-V and the all new Civic which has been developed as a unique model for the European market.
