Nationally Known Political Leader Sharron Angle to Visit Southwest Missouri
Sharron Angle will be the featured speaker at a Stilson for Congress fund-raising dinner to be held at the Tower Club in Springfield, Missouri on June 29, 2012.
Springfield, MO, June 22, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Tom Stilson, candidate for the Republican nomination for the 7th Congressional District seat in southwest Missouri, announced today that Sharron Angle will be the featured speaker at a fund-raising dinner to be held at the Tower Club in Springfield on June 29, 2012.
Sharron Angle served four terms in the Nevada state assembly and is the author of "Right Angle: One Woman's Journey to Reclaim the Constitution."
Sharron Angle has earned a national reputation as a strong fighter for conservatism and the Tea Party movement. Angle was first elected to office in 1992 to the Nye County School Board of Trustees and was then elected to the Nevada State Assembly in 1998, rising to the level of Majority Whip in the State Assembly. Angle was the 2010 Republican nominee for U.S. Senate, coming within 5 points of defeating Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
