Entrepreneurs' Organization Launches Fort Worth Chapter
The Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) announces the launch of a start up chapter in Fort Worth, TX.
Fort Worth, TX, June 22, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Continuing its trend of new-member growth despite a shaky global economy, the non-profit Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) is pleased to announce the launch of a startup chapter in Fort Worth, Texas. With this new chapter, local entrepreneurs are setting the pace as EO’s fastest growing chapter. Texas has more EO chapters and members than any other state.
"EO Fort Worth is made up of the region’s most dynamic entrepreneurs, and our mission is to inspire leading entrepreneurs throughout the region to learn and grow,” said Jeremy Brandt, founder/CEO of 1-800-CashOffer and founding President of EO Fort Worth. Supported by 9 other volunteer founding board members, Brandt will oversee the vision, development and programming of the rapidly growing chapter.
The Entrepreneurs’ Organization has been a positive force within business communities throughout the world, helping to fuel economic development and job creation by driving learning and growth of its members’ companies. Globally, its members account for US$140 billion in annual revenues and employ more than 1.5 million workers.
“We foster growth of entrepreneurs by helping them achieve success in their business and personal lives through peer to peer learning, connections to experts, and once in a lifetime experiences,” continues Brandt.
In order to move from a startup chapter to an official EO chapter, the group must recruit and maintain a membership of at least 25 within 12 months. EO Fort Worth not only achieved, but exceeded, that number within 4 months of their startup, transitioning to official chapter status on June 6, 2012.
"Our goal is not simply to attract the largest possible number of successful entrepreneurs to our chapter," said Hillary Bell, Owner/CEO of ProLab and founding board member, “but we are discovering that Fort Worth entrepreneurs are excited about the opportunities that EO offers and look forward to founding a group that opens access to other entrepreneurs from around the world.”
Members of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization must be the founder, cofounder or majority shareholder in a business with revenues of at least US$1 million annually. To learn more about the launch of EO Fort Worth or to apply for membership visit www.eofortworth.org.
