DAVACO Names Bruce Johnston as Director of Operations for Hospitality Division

In this role, Johnston is responsible for overseeing all client programs for hospitality brands.

In this role, Johnston is responsible for overseeing all client programs for hospitality brands, including the management of DAVACO's implementation team, program planning and specifications, cost and vendor management, program reporting and quality assurance. He will report directly to Mike Murray, SVP of Operations.

DAVACO currently offers hospitality brands, including hotels, motels, resorts and casinos, a turn-key implementation solution for multi-property initiatives such as lobby, health club or food service renovations as well as single property programs requiring a high-volume rollout including equipment, room or bathroom upgrades. The company specializes in renovations, rollouts, retrofits and resets; rebranding; furniture, fixture and equipment upgrades; and graphic and digital signage installations.

Prior to joining DAVACO, Johnston was employed by Matthews Southwest, where he was responsible for managing the recent development of the Omni Dallas Convention Center Hotel. He was previously employed with Omni Hotels, Prism Hotel Company, American General Hospitality and Rosewood Hotels and Resorts. Throughout his career, Johnston has partnered with a wide range of hospitality brands to oversee construction and renovation programs, including: Double Tree, Wyndham, Sheraton, Holiday Inn, Radisson and Hyatt. Johnston earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction from Kansas State University.
