Citizens Bank Opens New Amarillo Location

Amarillo, TX, June 23, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Citizens Bank proudly announces that it is now open in its all-new facility at 4117 S. Georgia, at the intersection of Georgia and I-27. The Amarillo Chamber of Commerce will host the official Grand Opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday, June 29th at 11am. An open house will follow.

The impressive 12,000 square-foot structure boasts an elegantly-styled Western theme, with an abundance of natural light, wood and custom-cut stone. The beautifully-furnished lobby centers around an expansive fireplace, with warm accent lighting all around. A grand board room features a 16-foot conference table crafted from timeworn wood reclaimed from a church in Mexico, and opens into an outdoor courtyard. The property is extensively landscaped, completing the transformation of a major Amarillo intersection that for decades housed a car lot.

The General Contractor is Nunn Construction of Amarillo, under Division Manager Rick Fleming. The new banking center was designed by Lavin Architects.
