MMI Public Relations Names Robert Buhler as New President
Experienced Executive Joins CEO Patty Briguglio to Lead and Grow Award-Winning Triangle-based Public Relations Agency.
Raleigh, NC, June 24, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Patty Briguglio, CEO of MMI Public Relations (http://www.mmipublicrelations.com), a full-service public relations firm based in the Triangle region of North Carolina, has announced that Robert Buhler has been named the new president and partner of the firm. As president, Buhler is taking on the responsibilities of expanding the firm’s divisions, implementing new technologies within the firm, building infrastructure to sustain growth and leading business development. He will be responsible for a broad range of strategic initiatives that will create new business opportunities and ensure MMI’s competitive standing in the marketplace. With Buhler’s leadership and guidance, MMI plans to widen its activities and suite of services while continuing to be a leader in providing quality PR service to all of its clients.
Before joining the firm, Buhler owned and managed the world’s largest corporation of vintage Chrysler auto parts in Massachusetts, with sales in every major country. To improve efficiency and profitability, he replaced an aging 30-year-old, pen-and-paper system with a modern cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, and implemented a new eBay store, increasing sales and acquiring new customers. Prior to his work in Massachusetts, he worked for a public relations and lobbying firm in Washington, D.C. where he managed public relations campaigns. During his time in Washington, Buhler worked with former congressmen to help build and create a large national health related association. Among other accomplishments, he worked with high-ranking government officials on behalf of numerous consulting arms, which resulted in increases in business. Drawn back to public relations, he sold his business in Massachusetts to join the team at MMI and follow his passion for helping clients tell their story.
Buhler earned an MBA from the Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif., and a Bachelor of Science in speech communication from the University of Utah, where he graduated cum laude.
