New York, NY, June 28, 2012 --(PR.com)-- First-Ever How-To Video Website for New Moms Plus a Daily Vlog for Moms with Older Kids
Announcing CloudMom, the first-ever how-to online video resource on baby's first year hosted by a mom: Melissa Lawrence, mother of 5.
With more than 100 video shows shot in her baby's nursery, Melissa, a Harvard lawyer turned "mompreneur,” provides new and expectant moms with a baby survival guide. Helpful, practical and easy to follow, Melissa's step by step demonstrations cover everything from registry essentials to invaluable breastfeeding advice to developing great sleeping habits for baby. You name it, Melissa has seen and tried it all.
The videos are co-produced by Co-Founder Deirdre Michalopoulos, former Sr. Managing Editor of ABCNews.com.
"You can never totally know what babies will do -- they don't come with instructions -- but as a mom you can be ready to react,” says Melissa. "When I looked around for videos on what to do after my first baby, I didn’t find anything that gave me those tools to react."
Enter CloudMom. With tried and true methods gained through her experience of having 5 children in 6 and 1/2 years, Melissa has compiled her vast knowledge into a series of 2 to 5 minute videos. Along with shortcuts, schedules, and practical advice, Melissa shares her secrets to establishing a workable system with new moms in the hopes of making their lives easier and boosting their confidence. Melissa also lets fledgling moms know it’s okay to make mistakes.
CloudMom will not miss anything moms want to know. Along with her team, which includes two other ABC News digital veterans, Katie Morison and Maddy Sauer, Melissa offers a Daily Vlog with her personal take on hot topics and need-to-know information relevant to moms of older kids. She also responds to moms' questions and concerns, sparking valuable discussions and creating a community within the vast mommy universe.
"It’s a way for moms to log in every morning and get what they need all in one place,” says Melissa. "I only vlog on issues I care most about.”
