Alexander Technology Group Announces Launch of NH-Internships.com
Alexander Technology Group, the region’s leading provider of information technology staffing services, has joined local partner companies to launch NH-Internships (www.nh-internships.com).
Bedford, NH, June 28, 2012 --(PR.com)-- NH-Internships is a pro bono, economic development project and is New Hampshire’s only state-wide internship website. The website was designed to create a greater awareness of internship opportunities for internship-seekers regardless of where they attend (or attended) school. Alexander Technology Group's contribution also allows NH-Internships to be provided at zero cost to employers or internship-seekers.
“Recent economic studies have proven that increased internship activity translates to increased economic benefit for our local economy. Since a website like this didn’t exist in New Hampshire previously, the decision to create and deliver NH-Internships was a fairly easy one,” said Jason Alexander, Managing Partner of Alexander Technology Group and Co-Founder of NH-Internships. “We have committed this platform at no cost, and with infinite scalability, to New Hampshire for the long term.”
Co-Founder and head developer Kristen Duval said, “Joining this effort made perfect sense to me. As a New Hampshire resident and member of the technology community, I had an opportunity to make a difference. NH-Internships simply makes it easier to advertise and identify internships and I immediately wanted in.”
NH-Internships is in the midst of its Beta launch and expects to solidify its long term design in the near future. Based on the popularity of the concept, the co-founders plan to launch a similar website for the state of Massachusetts.
