And the Award Goes to…! Geotechnical Engineer at Shannon & Wilson Receives SAME Saint Louis Post Outstanding Young Engineer Award

Saint Louis, MO, June 28, 2012 --(PR.com)-- On Thursday, June 21, 2012, the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Saint Louis Post awarded the 2011 Outstanding Young Engineer Award to Jacob Bilello, PE, Senior Geotechnical Engineer with Shannon & Wilson. During his four years with Shannon & Wilson, Bilello has made significant contributions in the way of geotechnical investigations and geotechnical design projects. His involvement includes field reconnaissance, subsurface exploration, laboratory testing and design recommendations for infrastructure, residential, commercial and industrial sites.

Bilello joined SAME in 2008 and currently serves as a Young Member Representative. “The contacts I have made within the organization are invaluable. I have also gained a lot of insight on the Army Corps of Engineers’ project methods,” said Bilello. “I’m excited to receive this award. It gives me enthusiasm to continue on and serve SAME in future leadership roles.”

A future leader he is, indeed. Bilello is one of a few select employees participating in Shannon & Wilson’s 2012 Future Leaders Program.
