POM Awarded Security Contract for Elite NY Private School

New York, NY, June 28, 2012 --(PR.com)-- When Manhattan’s newest state-of-the-art private school building opens up in September, faculty, students and parents can walk in the building every day knowing they are safe, as Peace of Mind Technologies (POM) has been awarded the contract to handle the installation and integration of security and surveillance systems for the Abraham Joshua Heschel School.
In a massive endeavor, POM will install the entire telecommunications and security infrastructure for the remodeled and expanded eight-story Jewish day school at 60th Street and West End Highway in Manhattan, including all data infrastructure for phones, cable, Internet and Wi-Fi.
POM Technologies cutting edge access control and surveillance systems will be fully integrated throughout the entire building. The security solution will have the ability to be managed on site or remotely to ensure that information can be accessed immediately.

POM Technologies Jason Miguel serves as project manager, working alongside Director of Technology Jeff Novick on this fast-track venture.
The multi-million dollar expansion is being handled by New York construction giant Sciame. The new building combines the lower, middle and high schools into one campus, featuring a two-story library, a performance center, a chapel, competition gym and outdoor recreation area.
