Lydia Martinez Escobedo is Pastor, Administrator, Principal and Instructor at Horeb Ministries and Maranatha Bible School. Pastor Escobedo received a Master’s degree in Education from North Texas State Women’s University. Pastor Escobedo has 49 years of teaching and preaching experience. She has been honored by the Daughters of the American Revolution and has received an Honorable Diploma from the National Education Department of Peru. She is the recipient of the Teacher of the Year Award from the Dallas Independent School District and was Class Valedictorian at the Miami Theological Seminary. Pastor Escobedo is a member of the Houston Section Ministers Association and Galena Park Ministries as well as serving as a Galena Park police chaplain. In her free time, Pastor Escobedo enjoys volleyball, travel and reading.
