C.A.R Good Neighbor Awards Give RE/MAX Agent Hasani Steele Five Reasons to Celebrate Success
Chicago, IL, June 29, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Hasani Steele, a top-producing Chicago real estate agent with RE/MAX Premier Properties, 1205 N. Dearborn Pkwy., in the city's Gold Coast neighborhood, had to have been happy with the recently announced results of the Chicago Association of Realtors® (C.A.R.) 2012 Good Neighbor Awards. Among the 57 award winning projects were five residential developments and renovations that Steele was instrumental in bringing to fruition and successfully marketing.
C.A.R. presented its Good Neighbor Awards in May at the Hilton Chicago. The awards program, established in 1992, recognizes ground-breaking rehabs and developments throughout the nine-county Chicago area.
These awards recognize the leaders in the industry who are instrumental in the continuation of new construction and rehab projects in Chicago.
"It's important for the confidence of the industry to demonstrate that one can invest in today's market and make successful returns despite the challenging market,” says Steele. "This is a great win for the neighborhoods as well as for purchasers today while creating jobs for Chicago's economy."
Steele believes his record-setting sales comparables help the appraised value of neighboring listings and increase the median sales price.
"What we do when working with investors and developers is beyond the scope of a traditional Realtor®," Steele said. "We are true partners at every step along the way and it is evident in the quality of the buildings and the quality of our marketing efforts. We consult the developers from conception, design, implementation, pre- marketing, delivery, and sales. The end result is a refined product that's built within budget, yet synchronized with the pulse of the market."
The five winners of the 2012 Good Neighbor Awards with which Steele was involved were:
The Heritage of Woodlawn, a six-unit condominium development at 6510-12 S. Ingleside Ave (Premium Builders).;
4351-55 S. Lake Park Ave., a 10-unit condominium development (Premium Builders);
4471 S. Lake Park Ave., a single-family row house (Premium Builders);
6516 S. Ingleside Ave., a gut-renovation of a single-family home (Kania Construction);
4740 S. Langley Ave., another home renovation in the city (Kania Construction).
Steele said that while he is delighted to see a project he has worked on win a Good Neighbor award, he is most excited about seeing the increased number of construction projects leading the way to a new era of elite architecture in Chicago’s neighborhoods.
"The hope is that these developments will serve as a trailblazer to the recovery and encourage others to passionately create housing that sparks an emotional excitement in today's buyers. I strongly believe that buyers will eagerly purchase a well-thought-out, nicely finished, practical floor plan that makes a lasting impression,” says Steele. "We encourage our development clients to pride themselves on resetting the bar of quality while laying the groundwork of sales that appraisers can use in helping our neighbors."
