Dover Downs Hotel & Casino Announces Summer Six Pack of Poker 500 and Other Tournament News in Crown Royal® Poker Room
Dover, DE, June 30, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Dover Downs Hotel & Casino is hosting six tournaments beginning in July. Each tournament will have $500 added to the prize pool and have a buy in of $60 with a $6,500 starting stack. The tournaments will be held on July 17, 19, 24, 26, 31 and Aug. 2, 2012 in the Crown Royal Poker Room.
On Sunday, July 1, four poker players will win a free seat into the Delaware Poker Championship® II, to be held on Sept. 8 in the Crown Royal Poker Room. Each seat is worth $450. The Delaware Poker Championship II has a guaranteed payout of $50,000.00 cash.
The Second Anniversary of the Crown Royal Poker Room will be celebrated with a $25,000 guaranteed prize pool tournament to be held on Friday, July 13. The tournament will begin at 7 p.m. with a buy-in of $250 for a $15,000 starting stack. Seating is limited so early registration is encouraged.
On Friday, July 27, a $10,000.00 guarantee tournament will be held for a buy in of $150 with a $15,000 starting stack. This is in addition to regular weekly tournaments on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Wednesday 7 p.m. has a buy in of $75 for $7,500 in chips.
A Vienna, Va., woman on Sunday, June 24 won a Royal Caribbean Cruise for two in the Crown Royal Poker Room. Additional cruise packages will be raffled off on July 29, Aug. 26, Sept. 30 and Oct. 14, 2012.
On Friday, the noon tournament also has a buy in of $75 for $7,500 chips, and the 7 p.m. tournament has a $100 buy in for $7,500 chips, with a $5,000.00 guaranteed prize pool. On Saturday the noon tournament has a buy in of $75 for $7,500 chips, and the 7 p.m. buy in is $80 for $7,500 chips, with a $2,500.00 guaranteed prize pool. The Saturday 7 p.m. tournament will change in July to a buy in of $75 with a $2,000 guaranteed prize pool. Bounty tournaments are held on Sunday at 1 p.m. with a $65 buy in and $5,000 chips.
