30 Minute Studio at Pissedpoet Pics
Makati City, Philippines, June 20, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The latest guest gallery at www.pissedpoetpics.com is a selection of self portraits by British multi media artist David Riley titled “30 Minute Studio.”
Riley’s 30 Minute Studio is a series of time lapse photographs of the artist at work taken over half an hour. The photographs and the painting Riley was working on were then merged together on his computer to make the 30 pieces that are the 30 Minute Studio.
Each piece in this series can stand alone as a work of art that explores the interaction of the artist and his work. The combination of a part of the painting with photograph of the artist creating that part of the painting opens up a fascinating narrative about the creative process.
“With these images you can almost step inside the artist’s head whilst they are working,” said Henry Bateman the publisher of www.pissedpoetpics. “As you look into each image you can see the work evolving whilst on the surface details from the finished work float before your eyes,” he added.
