New Owners & New Offerings by Seattle By Foot

Seattle, WA, July 01, 2012 --(PR.com)-- As of November 2011, Heather Chermak and Penny Truitt have become the new owners of Seattle By Foot. They have led Seattle tours for 25 years combined and are immensely grateful to represent the city they love.

"Our husbands are glad we have people to talk to!" Penny said. "And, we're excited. We want to show people the city we know so well."

Heather and Penny find the marvelous, stunning and bizarre, and avoid the boring rhetoric. With Seattle By Foot, you can learn about the nuance of our Emerald City.

"I am very hopeful for the future of Seattle By Foot. This is a dream come true for both of us," Heather said. "Penny and I have been creating tours in our heads for years, now we have the opportunity to make it all a reality."

This is exactly what they have done. Seattle By Foot introduced three new tour offerings in June 2012: Classic Capitol Hill, The Fremont Cut Loose and Seattle Kids Tour. Both neighborhood tours explore the city’s urban living through taste, touch and smell. Heather and Penny are especially excited to offer the Seattle Kids Tour. They regularly take their little ones on walks through downtown Seattle and want to share their findings with other families.

Seattle By Foot has also started offering tour packages for the traveler who likes to see it all and also customize tours. With their team of top notch tour guides behind them, they can create any kind of tour you can do by foot.

Seattle By Foot will continue to offer the Seattle Coffee Crawl, Pub Crawl and Scenic Emerald City Tours. These tours are a little different as Penny and Heather have added their own twist to these life long tours.

The company was founded in 2008 by Vicki Schuman. She entrusted Heather and Penny to build on Seattle By Foot's strong reputation and continues to lead tours.
