Matthew 25: Ministries Prepares First Disaster Relief Shipment for Victims of Colorado Wildfires

Matthew 25: Ministries, an international humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization located in Cincinnati, OH is finalizing preparations for their first shipment of disaster relief to Colorado Springs in response to the wildfires sweeping through the area. Matthew 25: Ministries, an international humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization located in Cincinnati, OH is finalizing preparations for their first shipment of disaster relief to Colorado Springs in response to the wildfires sweeping through the area. Waldo Canyon Fire Officials’ preliminary assessment indicated that almost 350 homes have been lost in the ongoing conflagration. The Waldo Canyon Fire has forced more than 30,000 people out of their homes.

KKTV in Colorado Springs described Tuesday's wildfire as “a perfect storm of record breaking heat, strong winds, dry air and dry fuel, which gave the fire enough of a push to get it into Queens Canyon.”

Colorado Springs Fire Chief Richard Brown described the disaster as "a firestorm of epic proportions."

Matthew 25: Ministries is working with partners in the devastated area to coordinate the shipment of critical first response aid that will meet the immediate needs of the victims. Matthew 25: Ministries expects their first shipment of relief to leave Cincinnati on Monday, July 2nd.
