OHM Cycles to Ship New Electric Bicycle Models This Month
OHM Cycles announced today that its very first orders for its newest electric bike models are being shipped to stores this month. The new e-bikes will be available to test-ride and purchase in Canada, the US and parts of Europe.
Vancouver, Canada, July 05, 2012 --(PR.com)-- OHM Cycles announced today that its very first orders for its newest electric bike models – now 15% lighter and able to power 20% longer range rides than last year’s models – are being shipped to stores this month. The new e-bikes, which feature the latest BionX technology, will be available to test-ride and purchase in Canada, the US, and parts of Europe.
The new electric bike models feature a Superlight Bionx 350HT SL motor and extended range 48V 8.8Ah battery pack. This means that the e-bikes are both lighter and more powerful than previous models. The new motor is 25% lighter while still delivering the same performance that OHM has built its reputation on, and the battery pack equips the new e-bikes with the most powerful drive system on the market.

OHM electric bikes are the product of over 7 years of research and testing to create the first e-bikes custom-designed to suit the North American market. They are available in 3 styles: the Urban XU700 in Matte Silver or Midnight Blue, the Special Edition Urban XU700 in Forest Green, and the Sport XS750 in Matte Black or Burgundy Red.
The new OHM bikes will be available for purchase through the OHM Factory Store and OHM authorized dealers. Customers who pre-ordered bikes will receive the first shipments.
