Local Mortgage Planner, Van Johnson, Earns NJAR Award for Affiliate of the Year

Morristown, NJ, June 20, 2007 --(PR.com)-- During the recent North Central Jersey Association of Realtors Circle of Excellence Sales Award Gala, Van Johnson was given the honor of receiving an award as 2006 Affiliate of the Year. This award was bestowed on Johnson for his enthusiasm and willingness to help promote a better working relationship with members of NJCAR and the other related areas of the real estate industry.

Johnson, who is a Senior Mortgage Planner with CTX Mortgage Company, stated, “I was thrilled to receive this award from NJCAR. I am even happier to have been able to bring awareness to an organization that enhances the image of the real estate profession.” This award is indicative of what teamwork and a little effort can do to making an organization grow and prosper.

According to Mary Cano, Executive Vice President of the North Central Jersey Association of Realtors, “Each year we select an "Affiliate of the Year.” This award is given to one of our affiliate members for their contribution of time and effort on behalf of planning and implementing programs of value for our members, as well as offering their own expertise in their chosen fields to our members. Van has been a dedicated affiliate member, who has given many hours of service to the board.”

Over the years, Johnson has shown a dedication and desire to give back to the community. As a mortgage professional, his business philosophy is different than most others. He has aspired to helping those he serves realize a better financial future by managing their largest debt. To accomplish this goal, Johnson has invested his time and money to providing the best resources for his clients.

In his commitment to community, Johnson has also devoted a large portion of his time to educating the public on ways they can pay off their mortgage faster while achieving financial freedom. Several times each month he hosts a seminar for New Jersey Home Ownership, a non-profit corporation dedicated to educating people on real estate and fiscal literacy. This seminar, “Missed Fortune,” has been instrumental in changing the lives and financial futures of many people.
