William Peace University Names Carmela Chaney as University Registrar
Four-Year Baccalaureate University Adds Experienced Student Affairs Professional to the Office of the Registrar.
Raleigh, NC, July 07, 2012 --(PR.com)-- William Peace University (http://www.peace.edu), a private four-year university located in downtown Raleigh, has announced that Carmela Chaney has been named university registrar. In this position, Chaney will be responsible for monitoring class schedules and classroom scheduling, evaluating student transfer credits, finalizing student degree statuses, and preparing diplomas for graduating seniors. Having worked on both public and private university campuses, Chaney brings more than 10 years of student affair experience to William Peace University. She has previously worked in the registrar offices at several California institutions, including the University of California at Santa Barbara, Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California State University in Los Angeles and the University of the West in Rosemead.
