TFI Envision, Inc. of Norwalk, CT Helps Improve Children's Lives Through Tennis

Norwalk, CT, July 07, 2012 --(PR.com)-- "Donating design, event planning skills and time for the past six years to help raise awareness and funds for the children of Cameroon, Africa’s Oyebog Tennis Academy (OTA) has been very fulfilling," says Mary Ellen Butkus, VP of TFI Envision, Inc., and OTA board member. "Having started playing tennis at the age of 10, I know what joy the game can bring to children, and where the life long sport can take you." The 4th annual OTA TennisFest 2012 was held June 9, at Intensity Tennis and Fitness in Norwalk, CT. Over 125 people came out to support the evening of Junior, and Pro/Am tournaments and attend the fundraising party.

Having created and distributed the PR materials, save the date cards, event posters, banners, t–shirts, silicone bracelets, event programs, child sponsorship boards, financial overview documents and art directed a touching video with actual footage of the camps (with the direct recipients of donations as the stars), $34,000 was raised!

These funds ensure the camps for another year, and also sends the 40-foot container filled with a year's worth of collected supplies (including over 50,000 used tennis balls, racquets, clothing and bicycles) to Cameroon.

OTA is non-profit 501c-3 organization that exists on borrowed court time, donated tennis equipment and the fundraising efforts in the U.S. and Cameroon.
