This event is expecting over 70 local professional women in the bay area, especially women in business to anticipate, and bring their voices to another level. The guest speaker Liu Ping, CEO of China Star Ltd., just announced the release of her new book “From Red Guard to CEO – My Chinese Dream." She is going to tell an inspiring story of going through misery, pain, suffering and confusion, but always standing strong of her true self. The former Red Guard in culture revolution, played multiple roles like ballerina, interpreter for elected officials, pioneer in traveling industry, now has her own incentive traveling and professional meeting company with over 200 employees. The story took readers back to the most controversial time in China -- late 1960s, when there was tremendous change and evolution in the country and people’s mind. The once little from-the-countryside girl Liu Ping, now the executive, brings her Chinese dream along to America and beyond, to share the laughter and sadness, to discuss opportunities and lessons in her life and business.
Following Liu’s presentation, all local women’s organization leaders, members, business executives are invited to raise discussions, share experiences and ideas and connect with each other. “It surprised me that so many women are interested in participating in the event in the first place,” says Mr. Wang Xin, President of Sinomedia International group, “It shows that women nowadays are passionate about what’s going on in the world, enthusiastic about their career and life.
