DeWayne Goodman of Love Bottling Company Receives the “Make the Customer Look Good” Recognition from CS3 Technology
Make the Customer Look Good behavior focuses on giving credit to those who deserve it and never taking credit falsely
Tulsa, OK, July 09, 2012 --(PR.com)-- DeWayne Goodman, Human Resource and Safety Director at Love Bottling Company, has been recognized by CS3 Technology as the recipient of their Essential Behavior program for “Make the Customer Look Good.” In DeWayne’s case, the customers are his coworkers. The “Make the Customer Look Good” behavior is defined by always passing credit to those who deserve it and never taking credit falsely.
Love Bottling Company began an implementation of Sage HRMS in the summer of 2011. DeWayne Goodman and Cindy Smith were the team leaders for the project. Unfortunately, DeWayne had to be on an unexpected medical leave for several months during the initial implementation. When DeWayne returned to the office, the project had continued successfully and DeWayne was easily brought up to speed. Love Bottling Company has a fully implemented human resources and payroll system.
“As part of our project, we conduct a closing meeting to discuss the process, open tasks, what went well and where we could improve,” said CS3 Technology’s senior sales consultant Chris Luttrell on her nomination form. “During this meeting, although DeWayne was the designated project manager and point person, he made it very clear that this project was a success due to his project team members, passing all the credit on to them, and taking none for himself. Additionally, when we first notified DeWayne he was the recipient of this recognition, he turned us down, not wanting to take credit for something that was a team effort. DeWayne is diplomatic, praises his team and continuously displays the attributes of a great manager.”
“Frankly, I was a little embarrassed to be singled out by this recognition, I feel that my co-workers carried the weight during this project,” said DeWayne, who has been with Love Bottling Company for 32 years. “I appreciate the people who I work with. We are a small company and all work together for the good of the company. We appreciate the help and guidance we receive from CS3 Technology to help continually improve our processes.”
