D’lites Ice Cream Chain Targets South Florida
Popular Low Fat Ice Cream Chain is Focused on South Florida Market for Expansion.
Miami, FL, July 11, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The D’lites Ice Cream Shops chain announced that it is targeting the West Palm Beach, Ft. Lauderdale and Miami areas of Florida to expand the thirty year old chain of soft serve ice cream shops.
The D’lites Ice Cream chain is known for its famous brand of low fat and low calorie soft serve ice cream products. With over 30 years in business, as D’lites Emporium, and with shops in Florida, Virginia, Georgia, New York, New Jersey and soon in Texas the company is now implementing a national rollout under the name D’lites Ice Cream Shops. There are also D’lites shops in Mexico, Honduras and Panama.
With 12 D’lites Shops already in Florida the company plans to leverage its thirty year reputation to increase its number of shops in the state.
President, Mr. Richard Michael said, “D’lites has a long history of success operating licensed shops as D’lites Emporium. Going forward, as D’lites Ice Cream Shops, we will build on the foundation that has been established since the first shop opened in 1982 in Plantation, Florida. That first shop continues to thrive in its original location. Not only is Florida the state where D’lites was founded, it is also where our contract dairy produces our ice cream product.” Mr. Michael added, “The West Palm Beach, Ft. The original D’lites Shop was established in 1982 in Plantation, FL where it continues to operate today. The Ice Cream product was originally developed by the founder to meet certain personal dietetic needs. The success of the original store enticed others to license the product and open their own D’lites shops. In late 2011 D’lites Ice Cream Shops, Inc. was formed to advance the business concept nationally.
The company’s expansion plan is to establish Area Developers and flagship shops in key markets throughout the US. Area Developers oversee new store development and provide assistance to new D'Lites Ice Cream Shop owners.”
