Jo Ann Koontz Appointed to Human Services Advisory Council

Sarasota, FL, July 12, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Attorney and Certified Public Accountant Jo Ann Koontz has been appointed to the Human Services Advisory Council, an advisory board for the Sarasota County government. She will fill the vacancy for a Certified Public Accountant.

Created by the Board of County Commissioners, the Human Services Advisory Council provides a conduit for citizen input to the County Commissioners regarding contracted Human Services and makes recommendations to the commissioners on Human Services policy.

The organization consists of 19 members from various sectors of the community serving three-year staggered terms.

Jo Ann Koontz is owner of the Koontz & Associates law firm, focusing on residential and commercial real estate transactions, federal and state tax law and business law. Because of her dual certification as an attorney and CPA, she is a sought-after presenter on the tax implications of real estate transactions, shorts sales and foreclosures, as well as other legal matters.
