Patronage to Host NYC Charity Event
EDM Fashion Brand to Host Charity Event in NYC for Popular Music Foundation
New York, NY, July 12, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Patronage, a lifestyle and fashion brand devoted to electronic dance music (EDM), is hosting a charity event on Saturday, July 21, 2012 from 9pm – 12am at Chelsea Manor in New York City. A portion of the proceeds will benefit VH1 Save the Music, a non-profit organization that prides itself on restoring instrumental music education programs in public schools.
“Music has been a central inspiration to Patronage and this is an excellent opportunity to rally with our community to raise funds in support of school music programs,” said Yfran Garcia, Co-Founder of Patronage. Garcia adds: “We too believe in the positive influence that music has in life. Therefore, we are more than happy to support VH1 Save the Music in an effort to give the gift of music back to our next generation of leaders. It’s imperative that we continue to increase awareness about the importance of music education.”
The New York City charity event will be the first of many events from the EDM brand’s “So Much Love” campaign – a campaign that focuses on mixing the positive messages from the EDM culture with social responsibility. The EDM brand recently launched a KickStarter campaign in hopes of marketing the campaign effectively.
This event is the first of many socially responsible events that Patronage will be hosting. The three-hour open bar package is priced at $40, with a portion of the proceeds going directly to VH1 Save the Music. The event is open to the public.
Patronage encourages anyone in NYC to stop by the event on July 21 to enjoy a night for a good cause. To learn more about the event, please contact Yfran Garcia at yfran@ptrnge.com.
