The Folsom Prison Gang to Perform at Charlotte Oktoberfest

Charlotte, NC, June 21, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The Oktoberfest celebration in Charlotte North Carolina will be getting rhythm this year (September 29th) while patrons of this popular event are entertained with live music from The Folsom Prison Gang, a Johnny Cash tribute band. The crowd will enjoy hearing some of their favorite Cash songs while sampling the over 350 beers that are planned for the event.

The Charlotte Oktoberfest is in its 9th year and is organized and run by the Carolina BrewMasters who are a Charlotte based homebrew club. The festival is put on to support local and regional breweries by promoting their products, educate the Charlotte public about quality craft brewed beer and to raise money for local charities. As with previous years, a large portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit local charities.
