Retail Realm and Lemon Announce Microsoft Dynamics RMS Integration for Instant e-Receipts
Latest version of RR Store Utilities capitalizes on Lemon’s popular mobile app to give all retailers a simple and cost-effective way of sending e-receipts to customers in real-time.
Sonoma, CA, July 14, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Retail Realm (www.rrdisti.com) and Lemon (www.lemon.com) jointly announced the release of their new Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System (RMS) integration which allows retailers to use the point-of-sale system to instantly generate and send e-receipts to customers via Lemon. The new RR Lemon Integration is included in Retail Realm’s latest release (Version 16) of RR Store Utilities, a system widely known for extending and enhancing the RMS software.
The RR Lemon Integration equips SMB retailers with the same e-receipt capabilities as retail conglomerates but at a fraction of the cost. It enables store and business owners to collect customer data, send targeted offers, and offer better customer service.
“We were immediately drawn to Lemon and saw the benefits of developing an integration that utilized their e-receipt capabilities with Microsoft Dynamics RMS,” said Louis Piedra, VP of Sales and Marketing, Retail Realm. “We received such a favorable response to Lemon when they presented and exhibited at our annual retail technology conference in Las Vegas last January. We knew that partnering with them would give SMB retailers a significant advantage in the market with regards to customer service.”
Benefits of using the integration include reducing receipt roll costs and improving one’s environmental profile, minimizing customer wait times and line-ups, allowing customers to track their purchases with a powerful online dashboard and pushing special offers to customers.
“Lemon is very excited to partner with Retail Realm to make e-receipts a reality for retailers and consumers,” said Wences Casares, Founder & CEO of Lemon. “This integration is one small step in the direction of eliminating paper receipts, and one large step to providing more ease and value to consumers in their retail shopping experience.”
