Starck Van Lines Announces Being a Certified ProMover by the American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA)

Burgettstown, PA, July 14, 2012 --(PR.com)-- AMSA, the non-profit trade association for the full-service moving industry, created the ProMover certification program in 2008. This initiative has helped consumers to identify legitimate, honest companies which have passed a seven-point background check and have agreed to uphold AMSA's Code of Ethics. Nearly 3,000 AMSA interstate mover members are currently authorized to display the ProMover logo. The ProMover program provides consumers with a reliable starting point when shopping for an interstate mover. Last June, Consumer Reports encouraged readers to learn how to find a mover from AMSA's www.moving.org website.

A study that was released in January by the Better Business Bureau found that ProMovers are three times more likely to have A or B ratings from the BBB than non-ProMover certified companies. And, that when complaints do occur, ProMovers have a significantly higher rate of resolving them with customers.
