RunningShoes.com Launches Mizuno #RunFree Photo Contest
The online superstore asks runners to share snapshots from their favorite running route for a chance to win the ultimate Mizuno running shoes wardrobe.
St. Louis, MO, July 16, 2012 --(PR.com)-- RunningShoes.com invites runners to map out their own declaration of independence this month. The online specialty running store has teamed up with Mizuno to celebrate the freedom of running. The Mizuno #RunFree Photo Contest is on the lookout for compelling snapshots of favorite running routes across the country.
It doesn't matter if the running route is a backwoods trail, a neighborhood sidewalk or a bustling city street. It doesn't even need to have a path! Just as long as it's the one place where all inhibitions disappear and the freedom to run can be fully discovered. Capture an image of this place on your next run, and share it with the world for a chance to win the ultimate Mizuno running shoes wardrobe.
What is an ultimate running shoes wardrobe? It's comprised of shoes developed for three types of surfaces—road, trail and track. For road, the Wave Elixir (retail value $119.95) is one of Mizuno's most popular shoes. The lightest and fastest version of the Elixir yet includes Mizuno Wave Technology for a more fluent ride, SmoothRide Engineering for a "rocking-chair-like" transition and a Dynamotion Fit upper.
Next in the prize package is the Mizuno Wave Ascend (retail value $104.95), a trail running shoe constructed to handle challenging terrain. With similar features found in the Elixir, the Ascend also has an outsole tailored for wet traction and uneven landscapes. The lightest shoe of the bunch, the Mizuno Wave Ronin (retail value $104.95), rounds out the prize package. Because it is so lightweight, the Ronin is a racing flat ideal for the track.
Runners looking to score a three-pair prize pack can enter The Mizuno #RunFree Photo Contest by submitting a photo on the RunningShoes.com Facebook page. Contestants can also enter via Twitter or Instagram by posting their photo using the hashtag #RunFree. Photos will be judged based on creativity, the best representation of the contest theme, color composition and overall composition. The staff of RunningShoes.com will select and announce a winner by August 22, 2012. This contest is open to U.S. residents only.
