Are You Ready for the First Ever National Shed Week?
Cardiff, United Kingdom, June 22, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Nearly 700 sheds have a chance of winning the prestigious Shed of the Year 2007 award, with the winner taking away a Taylor's Garden Building shed as a trophy.
Overall, more than 2,500 votes have been cast and they are still coming in for the various categories, from the humble garden shed available from any DIY store to unique buildings, posh garden offices and even a surprising number of TARDISes.
Here's a breakdown of what's happening:
Monday, June 25, 1pm - the last chance to add your shed
Friday, June 29, 6pm - voting closes for Shed of the Year
Monday, July 2 - National Shed Week officially starts and the Shed of the Year category winners are announced
Tuesday, July 3 - Winner of the shed photo competition announced
Wednesday, July 4 - winner of Shed of the Year announced and special commemorative issue of The Shed magazine published
Thursday, July 5 - results of our special poll 'Who would you like to show around your shed?' announced
