UPS Systems Specialist Source UPS to Sell Zolar Solar and Wind Inverters
Source Uninterrupted Power Solutions has delved into the solar energy market and will start selling the Zigor range of solar and wind inverters. Source UPS also sells Zigor's uninterruptible power supplies.
Hampshire, United Kingdom, July 19, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Source Uninterrupted Power Solutions have added the Zigor range of solar and wind inverters to its existing uninterruptible power supply offering in the United Kingdom.
The Hampshire-based business became Zigor’s authorised UPS supplier in 2009 and has now made the decision to branch out into the solar energy market.
Zigor is an international producer of energy conversion systems, electronic power devices and renewable energy solutions. The company’s headquarters is based in Spain and has offices all over the world.
Source UPS will distribute the Zigor Sunzet series which provide solutions for single phase residential systems or three-phase commercial applications with inverters available from 2kw to 2mw of power.
The Sunzet is easy to operate and has been designed to cover the needs of all mains connected solar generation plants. They start from 2kw up to 6kw for the On Grid single phase inverter and from 10kw up to 166kw for the On Grid three-phase inverters. The different models offer between 96% and 98% efficiency and include panel strings with a wide range of options.
The inverter includes a web server application accessible via its Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) connection and provides an LCD display allowing customers to access production data.
Zigor incorporated an innovative Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) device into the Sunzet. This ensures the maximum possible power is gained from one or more of its solar panels by the MPPT sampling the output of the solar cells and applying the proper load. A new leakage detection system has also been developed to avoid injuries on solar plants with high levels of humidity.
Source UPS also offers Zigor Off Grid hybrid inverters which are designed to meet power requirements in locations not covered by the grid. All products include a five-year warranty.
Gavin Banks, Marketing Director of Source UPS, said: “The UK has seen many changes in the solar industry in recent times and there is no doubt that it is a difficult market right now.
“We believe that a corner is about to be turned and that there are many opportunities in the industrial and commercial market for new PV installations.
“Zigor are bringing a vast range of On Grid and Off Grid solar and wind products to the UK for residential and industrial applications so it’s an exciting time for Source UPS to enter this market.”
Source UPS launched its new website www.sourceups.co.uk this month offering online visitors improvements in navigation, appearance and accessibility.
The new site will be regularly updated with latest news and information on ups power supplies and solar energy. Source UPS can also now be found on Twitter via @SourceUPSLtd.
