Celebrity Stylist and Fashion Maven, Misa Hylton, Launches Chic Online Boutique, MadisonStarCouture.com
Englewood Cliffs, NJ, June 22, 2007 --(PR.com)-- If you have ever wanted to dress like a star, fashion maven and style icon, Misa Hylton, offers you access to celebrity style as close and convenient as your keyboard with the launch of her luxury online boutique, www.MadisonStarCouture. More than getting just a sneak peak at a celebrity’s closet, Madison Star Couture promises to bring all its visitors along on an exclusive shopping spree—fresh off the runways for every season. From that chic 25 year old social butterfly to the working mother discovering her inner fashionista, the cyberspace boutique is designed to cater to women who are stylish, innovative and set trends, not follow them.
Since Misa’s explosion in the world of fashion in the early ‘90s, she has helped shape the images of today’s hottest stars with an adventurous vision and spirit that has made her one of the industry’s most sought-after stylists. Nearly 15 years ago, Misa began working with a young R&B Soul artist by the name of Mary J. Blige, crafting the image that combined edgy, urban style with high-end couture. Since then, Misa’s well-earned reputation and following has grown immensely. She has styled everyone from Lil Kim to Chris Rock, Missy Elliot, Queen Latifah, and Serena Williams, as well as designed wedding gowns for a number of “A-List” celebrities. Additionally, Misa served as style diva Kimora Lee Simmons’ personal fashion stylist for 5 years — orchestrating the influential looks for each of her red carpet walks, public appearances, and editorial shoots. Moving beyond her fashion stylist’s roots, Misa’s television work includes appearances on MTV’s House Of Style, VH-1 and E! Entertainment’s Grammy Fashion Review as a resident fashion guru.
Over the course of her career, Misa has served as Fashion Editor for The Source Magazine and featured guest editor for Trace Magazine. Her work as a stylist has graced the pages of Vogue, W, InStyle, Essence, VIBE, Paper, and The New York Times.
This year, the businesswoman and mother of three is set to go beyond her fashion stylists roots with the launch of www.MadisonStarCouture.com, which she promises will “run the gamut from high-end couture to casual wear.” Madison Star, a name inspired by her daughter, will offer the ultimate shopping experience for its clientele and feature the latest styles from cutting-edge designers. In addition, Misa is putting the finishing touches on her denim line, which will be offered on the site in the fall, and will end the search for the elusive, “perfect fit”.
“I just want to introduce my sense of style to the masses,” Misa said recently, “I’m a business woman, but I’m also a mom. I have to go from PTA meetings to fashion shows to glamorous nightlife events, so I have different looks for every facet of my life. I want every woman to be able to purchase something essential for her life from my collection.”
