Women Blog, Tweet and Bond Over Pets

Tucson, AZ, July 20, 2012 --(PR.com)-- People always talk about their pets. But what about blogging and tweeting about our four-legged friends? That is what the online community Women on the Verge will do in August, as they explore the topic of the month: Who’s in your animal kingdom?

Women on the Verge is an online community of women on www.womenontheverge.net who post about any topic of their liking through social media, but also chime into a monthly topic of discussion to voice their opinions and make new friends. Anyone can open a free account and join the conversation.

“Let’s discuss the love that we have for our furry babies,” says founder and member Ana Lewis, noting that some might have to get a little creative. “Not everyone shares a love of animals, so for those, I look forward to someone paying homage to their husbands or mother-in-laws, or even former love interests.”

The WOTV blogs, which garner 1,000,000 hits per month, are the main feature of the community and have landed the website in the pages of Marie Claire magazine. The community also boasts an additional 10,000 followers on social media. Members span all over the world and include New York Times bestselling authors, entrepreneurs and mothers. Starting November the community will collaborate with THAT Magazine for Women, available on stands nationwide, featuring content by WOTV members and book reviews of the award-winning WOTV authors.

Life coach and WOTV member Judy Kinney will also host a telecall called “What’s Self Love Got to do With it?” on August 1. The hour-long, $40 dollar session will help participants love all of their quirks, flaws gifts and passions. To find more information on the seminar, visit www.judykinney.com.

Later in the month, some WOTV members will share what they blogged about on the Women Change the World online radio show available on www.blogtalkradio.com/womenontheverge. The show airs on the third Wednesday of every month and the next one will be on August 15th, from 7 to 8 p.m. Eastern Time.
