VMAC Group: Agile Project Management for EPC(M)/ Shanghai, 30-31 July

Shanghai, China, July 20, 2012 --(PR.com)-- EPC project management or turn key projects are quite common and widely used in large scale projects. Agile project management is used since the eighties mainly for software projects. For the past few years, the agile methods have been structured and specific certifications are provided, i.e. SCRUM Master from Scrum Alliance or the ACP from PMI.

This 2-Day intensive workshop on Agile Project Management for EPC (M) provides a sound view of EPC Projects, embedded with the principles based on the international standard PMBOK Guide 4th Edition (2008) and the PMBOK extensions for Construction and PMO’s. The innovation in this training is the introduction of Agile techniques and the blending with the traditional project management.

This workshop is a view on all these methods and how it can be blended in a practical way for EPC projects. The methods are introduced and explained to provide the necessary advancement on the different structures and it will be combined into an exercise where the participants will take one of their own projects (ongoing or upcoming) and present possible measures or changes with the blending of Agile Methods.

The benefits out of this exercise are new ideas on how to plan and execute projects, a current troubled project turnaround, out of the box ideas for higher efficiency, earlier completion and higher ROI.
