Boise's Jamaal Al-Din's Hoops 227 Goes National for Peace. Coach Jamaal is Rallying the Nation to Show Its Patriotic Spirit from the City of Trees... Boise, Idaho.

Jamaal Al-Din's Hoops 227 will sell and distribute t-shirts, nationally. These t-shirts will have the Jamaal Al-Din's Hoops 227 logo on the front, a patriotic slogan on the back, and yes, colors of red, white and blue on the sleeve. This idea came to Coach Jamaal as a result of watching the NBA Playoffs and Finals over the past two seasons.

Boise, ID, June 23, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Coach Jamaal Al-Din, owner of Boise's Jamaal Al-Din's Hoops 227 now has a national agenda. Coach Jamaal is arranging a Peace Acnowledgement Day for all of our nation to participate in. Jamaal Al-Din's Hoops 227 of Boise, Idaho is quickly becoming recognized as Boise, Idaho's basketball commodity for kids. Jamaal Al-Din's Hoops 227 World Peace Acknowledgement Day will highlight our nation's pride and acceptance of the code of world peace. T-shirts will be produced and sold nationally and worn on a date to be announced in the summer of 2008.

This idea came to Coach Jamaal as a result of watching the NBA Playoffs and Finals over the past two seasons.

"The fans have collaborated in unison which is great to witness at any sporting venue. When togetherness and unity is exemplified in sports, it's a beautiful thing," says Jamaal Al-Din.

We've seen the NBA's Miami Heat with Shaquille O'Neal and Dwayne Wade with their crowd sporting all white t-shirts during last year's NBA Championship Series. And this year, the Golden State Warriors crowd wearing yellow t-shirts, Utah Jazz fans sporting baby blue t-shirts, Cleveland Cavalier fans in red and the World Champion San Antonio Spurs crowd decked out in all white, this has become a true cultural, sporting fad.

Jamaal Al-Din's Hoops 227 will sell and distribute t-shirts, nationally. These t-shirts will have the Jamaal Al-Din's Hoops 227 logo on the front, a patriotic
slogan on the back, and yes, colors of red, white and blue on the sleeve.

"This will be a very creative and memorable day for all those involved. A great opportunity to show your patriotism as an american citizen," says Coach Jamaal.

One since of irony is that Coach Jamaal attended Mountain Home High School in Idaho as a military dependent at Mountain Home Air Force Base. And with our country's perseverance over the past several years politically, with Iraq and other countries it makes the organization of such a patriotic event, even more impressive.

Coach Jamaal Al-Din is from a long line of basketball. Jamaal Al-Din's accomplishments include:

Played for the great, legendary Coach Ed Palubinskas of Olympic fame and college history. Ed Palubinskas set Olympic scoring records while playing for the Australian Olympic Basketball National Team and is well known for his shooting accuracy so much that he tutored the NBA great Shaquille O'Neal while with the NBA's Los Angeles Lakers and currently the NBA's Miami Heat. Shaquille O'Neal is arguably the most recognized sports figures in the World!

"Ed Palubinskas was great to play for, he made me work really hard and taught me to shoot with accuracy," said Jamaal.

Ed Palubinskas is developer of Baden's "Smartball" advertised on the NFL Network and ESPN.

"I can remember, as well as I'm sure my teammates can recall 'Coach Palubinskas' singling me out after practice to run sprints! I remember vividly 'Coach P' stating to me 'on the line,' over and over again, so many times that I soon understood how important the game was. The irony is that I didn't walk out of practice, I ran every sprint he demanded of me and I returned to practice the next day...the rest is history! The State of Idaho's leading scorer that year at 24 pts/gm. Hard work pays off." ---Coach Jamaal Al-Din
