Pima County Sheriff Candidate Terry Frederick Investigates ATT Constitution Attack
As a former Pima County Deputy Sheriff, private investigator, and current candidate for Sheriff in Pima County, Terry Frederick has grown concerned about the upcoming United Nations’ Arms Trade Treaty. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, has promised to sign the treaty at the U.N. on July 27th. Terry Frederick says, “The ATT is described by supporters as a way to minimize war between nations, but far more is hidden beneath the surface. At risk is the second amendment in our Constitution.”
Tucson, AZ, July 20, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Former Pima County Deputy Sheriff, private investigator, and current candidate for Sheriff in Pima County, Terry Frederick, said today, "I have grown concerned about the upcoming United Nations’ Arms Trade Treaty (hereafter referred to as the ATT). Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, has promised to sign the treaty at the United Nations on July 27th. The ATT is described by supporters as a way to minimize war between nations, but far more is hidden beneath the surface. At risk is the right of our citizens to defend themselves, something that I consider to be a human right that is protected by the second amendment in our Constitution.
"My investigative team has discovered that this treaty is part of a plan that was launched in 1961 when Under Secretary of State, Chester Bowles, ran the Department of State for the Secretary. This plan is clearly described in a shocking document titled, 'Freedom From War - The United States Program for General and Complete Disarmament in a Peaceful World.' This plan was perfectly designed to confiscate the arms of law-abiding citizens in America under the ruse of preventing war. It acknowledges that the goal can be successful by using the United Nations and a treaty that would, in time, accomplish their plan. Now at the final threshold, just a few decades later, it appears that the blue-helmeted United Nations forces will now be able to dictate how Congress and Americans can utilize their Constitutional rights. An excerpt from the Department of State in 1961 states: “…a world where adjustment to change takes place in accordance with the principles of the United Nations; a world where there shall be a permanent state of general and complete disarmament under effective international control and where the resources of nations shall be devoted to man's material, cultural, and spiritual advance…”
Due to recent secrecy at the United Nation’s hearings about the ATT, established after they became aware that the National Rifle Association (NRA) began attending previously public meetings, it is not known the exact wording of the treaty at this point. The exact wording may not be known until Secretary of State Hillary Clinton signs the treaty on July 27th, 2012. Ms. Clinton is about to execute the plan that began in the very same government department just a few decades ago.
Terry Frederick went on to say, "It is safe to say that the ATT reads similarly to previously revealed versions of the treaty with mention of reducing war, including restrictions put into place for law-abiding American citizen owners of small arms. Not surprising, much of the language used in previously released versions of the treaty are very similar to the infamous plan released by the Department of State in 1961. The United States is the largest supplier of funds to the United Nations and it has now maneuvered, by way of Hillary Clinton’s State Department, to finally have a way to take our freedoms away and threaten the security of every individual in this great nation.
"How many of you have ever heard of a bunch of American citizens armed with small self-defense weapons, many of them single mothers, plus fathers of families, grandparents, business owners and hunters, storming into another country with small pistols and rifles to take over a foreign country? What does this actually have to do with minimizing war? It has nothing to do with minimizing war and everything to do with complying with the State Department’s wish to void our Second Amendment rights. According to our Constitution, treaties become the law of the land, putting this one on par with our very own Second Amendment."
Another excerpt from the Department of State document reads: “Set forth as the objectives of a program of general and complete disarmament in a peaceful world:
(a) The disbanding of all national armed forces and the prohibition of their reestablishment in any form whatsoever other than those required to preserve internal order and for contributions to a United Nations Peace Force;
(b) The elimination from national arsenals of all armaments, including all weapons of mass destruction and the means for their delivery, other than those required for a United Nations Peace Force and for maintaining internal order;
(c) The establishment and effective operation of an International Disarmament Organization within the framework of the United Nations to ensure compliance at all times with all disarmament obligations;
(d) The institution of effective means for the enforcement of international agreements, for the settlement of disputes, and for the maintenance of peace in accordance with the principles of the United Nations."
Terry added, "Contributions to a United Nations Peace Force means to tax you and use those funds to pay foreign nations to take your own rights away. You will pay to have your own lives put into peril. Are you willing to accept being told that you have to yield your constitutionally protected rights by a group of rogue foreign nations that includes terrorists? Are we to govern ourselves, or roll over and accept the demands of foreigners who care not about our families?
"Just the other day, the United Nations appointed Iran to serve in a high ranking position on the ATT treaty committee. Iran has previously been described as being part of the ‘Axis of Evil’ in the Middle-East. If the UN were to concede, remove Iran from this position of power over us, and move forward, what will keep them from adding Iran to the collective of new UN-based American bosses afterward? Are these the kind of United Nations ‘principles’ that we are supposed to appreciate? Are we to be subjected to the whims of terrorist nations that long to see a disarmed America? Are we to become a nation of formerly free men and women that merely remember the days when we were able to defend ourselves from common thieves and feed our families?"
Terry Frederick agrees with former UN Ambassador, John Bolton, who has warned American citizens that the Arms Trade Treaty is the instrument with which the UN “is trying to act as though this is really just a treaty about international arms trade between nation states, but there’s no doubt that the real agenda here is domestic firearms control.”
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has pledged to push the Senate members to ratify the ATT into law. She has been a staunch advocate of gun control throughout her political career. If we cannot stop the ratification of this treaty in the Senate, will be the result that our nation would be required to create tougher licensing requirements, making the ownership of a self-defense firearm almost impossible, except for the wealthy. There will also be a ban on the ownership of semi-automatic firearms which is not like automatic weapons, which merely allow a user to fire one bullet at a time more easily than having to cock the hammer on a firearm each time. Semi-automatic firearms represent the majority of firearms in use today. The last result would be the destroying of all civilian firearms that are not deemed to be ‘authorized.’
When Terry Frederik is elected as Pima County Sheriff, he will be required take an oath of office. It is the same oath that he already took as a Pima County Deputy Sheriff: "I do solemnly swear that I will support, protect and defend the Constitution and Government of the United States, and of the State of Arizona; that I am duly qualified to hold office under the Constitution of the State; and that I will well and faithfully perform the duties of Pima County Sheriff on which I am now about to enter.
