London, United Kingdom, July 25, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Cora Systems attended the 4th annual LinkGov Health & Care Conference, titled “Next Generation Healthcare,” on Thursday 28th of June at Manchester University.
The NHS is currently going through its biggest and most challenging reform since it has been established. This reform is aimed at making the necessary savings whilst continually improving the service being provided to the patients. Delegates at the event were provided with information through presentations and showcases which looked at the future direction of the NHS along with new strategies and innovations for service delivery.
Following the conference the prestigious QIPP Challenge Award was presented to the Trust that showed powerful work plans within their organization within the following categories:
QIPP – Plans and Goals
Increasing Quality while Reducing Waste
Innovation with a view to Adoption and Diffusion
Service Change/ Reconfiguration

Many submissions were entered for this highly regarded award and following a vote among the attendees of the conference the overall winner was Derbyshire Healthcare Foundation Trust with their contribution titled “Better Together”
Derbyshire’s submission “Better Together” demonstrated their methods of efficiency and assurance through two systems recently implemented within the Trust. One of the systems in use is Cora Systems’ project, programme and performance management software solution, ProjectVision. ProjectVision has provided Derbyshire with the visibility and control of their projects whilst giving them the assurance that they are providing the highest possible quality patient care.
Derbyshire has derived a number of benefits from using ProjectVision including:
Visibility of how well the Trust is doing in providing consistently high levels of patient care.
Control of the progress and statuses of the Transactional and Transformation Change Programmes.
Clear presentation of critical decision making and information through user role specific dashboards and reports.
Derbyshire is also in the running for the HSJ Award that will be announced later this year. Best of luck to all involved.
